Buffy the Vampire Slayer
From time to time it’s good to just get into our character’s heads outside of the current action. This activity is completely optional as far as participation goes.
Each character has their own particular motivation: some are driven by guilt, some are driven by anger, and others have their own unique reasons for doing what they do. We’d like you to take a look at your character and write about what drives them.
You can write one solo or multiple solos based on different motivations or different points in the character’s life. If you would just tag them with “COIN prompt 1” we will collect them in a master list and post it at a later date.
Wade Wilson | Deadpool | Mercenary | FC: Special | Taken
Very little is known about the early life of Wade Wilson. There’s even a question as to whether that’s actually his name. What is known is that he agreed to join the Weapon X program in an attempt to cure the cancer that was killing him. He was given a regenerative healing factor which left him horribly scarred. When he washed out of the program he was sent to Department K. There he was subjected to experimentation that eventually drove him insane. When he was found to have killed another inmate, he was ordered killed. The result of the attempt kicked his healing factor into high gear and he not only survive, but he destroyed the facility and released all of the other inmates.
Since his break out he works as a man for hire. He will take any job that is offered to him. He’s known to be very unpredictable and often annoying.
Notes: Deadpool always wears a mask so an actor FC makes little sense. Comic scans will be used for any gif reactions and when he uses his holographic projector a picture will be posted of who he appears to be. Unless stated otherwise he will be wearing his trademark costume.
Deadpool has the ability to break the fourth wall. He is aware he’s from a comic, he knows about his video game, he knows about the appearance in the Wolverine movie, and he knows he’s on an rp blog. Other characters usually react to this as if it’s a manifestation of his insanity. He also hears voices in his head. They will be surrounded by parentheses (like so) or brackets [these guys]. They will appear in paras, dash conversations and pm. Other characters cannot see what they’re saying they’re just there for comedic reasons. Drusilla is an exception to that.
